1st birthday beach cake, beach wedding cake, cowboy baby shower, strawberry birthday cakes

We had a super busy week!

These were made for a little girl turning 2! She wanted strawberry shortcake themed desserts and these are what we came up with!

Cowboy Themed Baby shower cake/cupcake

This was made for a baby shower! I am pretty happy with the results. I hand painted the handkerchief design and Rodney made the baby, it's so cute! The cupcake was made for the big sister!

Beach Wedding cake

This was made for a reception after a destination wedding. The entire cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream, crushed wafers and chocolate shells.

Ian's first birthday!

Our friends Amy and Garren were celebrating their baby's 1st birthday party and went with a beach theme! Because Ian has so many people that love him, they had to have TWO PARTIES! These were all made for both parties - I also made cookie favors but forgot to take a picture!!

(throwing in an extra picture of the main cake in a different light because I love how it turned out!)

Busy week but everything seemed to turn out pretty good!

Hey Steph!!!! I wrote you the other day when I signed up for your blog~love your work!!!!

I am curious how you covered the beach ball so perfectly? Did you use the Wilton Sports Ball pan? I love this cake and think I am going to somewhat replicate it for my son's 1st birthday party next week.

Thank you so much for your pics and descriptions! Can't wait to try the Starbucks cup too~might have to ask you some questions about that too!!! You are so creative.

Thanks so much!!!
