Jenny's graduation cake

This cake was made for a good friend of ours, Jenny, for her collegiate graduation from the University of North Texas!

Jenny studied to be a teacher so that was the theme of this cake!

This is a carrot cake with vanilla/cream cheese bc, and fondant accents. The only non-edible pieces on this cake are the graduation cap and the diploma. The UNT logo was made from white chocolate.

This was a really fun cake to make/ put together and the party was a lot of fun!

Cookie Wookie's

These were made for a graduation luncheon and are no fail sugar cookies with rolled buttercream. The batch of dough I made for the cookies came out especially well but not-so-much luck with the buttercream. I've made this stuff a million times before but for some reason this particular batch gave me a lot of problems. First it was too sticky, then to dry, it seemed to never end! They managed to come out nicely depsite the hardships, I was pleased with the end result.
